I’m Angie Allen, Squarespace Web Designer

I help small business owners create polished, professional websites to tell their stories and build trust with their dream clients. I plan and build websites to showcase your personality, brand, and expertise so you can spend less time looking for leads and more time doing the work you love.

If you don’t have a website to call home, I can help.

A little about me + how I got here.

I’m an RN who’s wandered VERY far off track. I started my professional life as a cancer nurse. But, the inevitable stress and grief of the job crept in and left me struggling to balance work and family.

I found solace through creative outlets.

In 2005 I started a side gig as a stationery designer. I specialized in custom invitations with a focus on simple, yet striking illustrations and stunning typography. Before I knew it, I was pulling all-nighters designing and filling orders. Success occurred when my passion met my ability and I was able to make the jump from RN to creative entrepreneur.

How did I get to web design?

When you pursue artistic endeavors, you gotta be flexible. Trends and technology change rapidly (which is part of the fun). After seven years, I closed my graphic design and stationery studio to explore photography. I worked as an interior design photographer, assistant, and webmaster. Since 2014, I’ve volunteered as a photography instructor and mentor through a recreational therapy program for local veterans. During this time, there was one constant:

Someone always needed a website.

I was happy to oblige. In 2007 I built my first website using HTML. Since I’ve used Dreamweaver, Blogger, Blogspot, and WordPress. In 2018, I began using Squarespace, and I haven’t looked back.

I’ve spent the last 17 years honing my graphic design and visual art skills. From pen and camera to Adobe and Canva, I love using color, typography, imagery, and composition to bring a website to life.

Why I Believe Your Website Should Feel Like Home

At age 6, my parents built me a dollhouse. I quickly ditched the dolls and made the house my interior design and real estate project. Wallpaper, holiday decor, curb appeal, you name it.

This passion for crafting beautiful spaces never left me. Since 2012, I’ve worked with interior designers, realtors, homebuilders and contractors, and skilled trades as a web designer, graphic artist, and photographer.

Working with them opened my eyes to the challenges faced by all sorts of small business owners. They all share a need for a strong online presence, a website that feels like an online home.

That's where my creative toolbox comes in. Whether you're in real estate, construction, or any other small business, I can help you build a website that reflects your unique personality and attracts your ideal clients.

Angie is easy to talk to - she gave me a redirecting nudge where needed but also listened so she could incorporate my vision. She wants you to succeed - she believes in her clients and sets them up for success.
